In Ktn Egypt visa process section, you can explore all the needed documents for the short stay visa to the Schengen zone, especially Hungary. Thus, Ktn Egypt interested applicants can download and fill the required documents in order to get the visa from the Hungarian embassy in Cairo. Ktn Egypt facilitates the visa process through different means, such as visa appointment reservation, flight booking, accommodation, and more. These facilities are available only for the applicants who are willing to attend workshops, summer courses and any events done by Ktn Egypt.
A - General required documents
1- Passport
Original and copy of current and previous passport covering the past 7 years. Copy of the biometric data page. Copy of all non empty pages has to be provided.
Important: Current passport must have been issued within the last ten years and contains at least two blank pages. The passport should be valid for at least 3 months after return from the planned trip.
2- Photo
One biometric photo (with white background) not older than six months. Please note that the photo should not be attached to the application form as it has to be scanned separately.

3- Invitation / acceptance letter
Ktn Egypt is responsible to provide an official invitation or acceptance letter for accepted applicants from the inviting university
4- Medical Insurance
Travel medical insurance covering the entire period of intended stay, valid for all Schengen States and covering any expenses which might arise in connection with repatriation for medical reasons, urgency medical attention, emergency hospital treatment or death during (my) stay. The minimum coverage must be 30.000 EUR. There are many comapnies which provide medical insurance such as, Travco , Allianz.
The medical insurance price valid depending on the staying period, for example, medical insurance to cover the stay of five weeks is about 150 - 200 Egyptian pounds. Ktn Egypt can manage medical insurance for groups more than 10 applicants.

6- Proof of accommodation
Usually, the accommodation fees are included in any of Ktn Egypt’s events except it was mentioned that the accommodation is not included. Thus Ktn Egypt will provide all needed documents, for the accommodation for the applicants during their stay in Hungary, to the Hungarian Embassy in Cairo.
7- Flight tickets
A round trip ticket to the destination country. Ktn Egypt facilitates the flight booking for 10 applicants or more. Egyptair is the best choice for travelling to Europe and especially to Hungary.
8- Bank Statement
Original bank statements for the past 6 months in English Language. In the absence of bank account, proof of other assets has to be provided, such as parents bank statement, property ownership, etc.
9- Proof of enrolment
A recent proof of enrollment in the university or institute you are enrolled in.
B- Other required documents
1- Certificate of employment
Certificate of employment for employed applicants, specifying the date of recruitment, position in the company and salary level.
2- Visa Fees
Payment of the visa fees which is 60 Euros in cash, no Egyptian pounds nor US dollars are accepted, the visa fees has to be paid in Euros in during the visa interview.
3- Collecting Fingerprints
Ten fingerprints will be collected in the embassy from visa applicants above the age of 12. Finger scans can be reused for further visa applications over a five-year period.
4- Parents acknowledgement (Download pdf form)
The accepted applicants (younger than 21 years old) have to provide a signed parent acknowledgment from one of the parents stating that they will provide the applicant with financial means and they allow him / her to travel during the period of Ktn Egypt event.
5- Certificate of Movements outside Egypt
For first time travellers, or in case of passport loss: a Certificate from the Mogamma covering the past 7 years. Normally this takes two weeks to be provided by the Egyptian authorities.
